West Indies’ multi-talented player Andre Russell has made a successful return to international cricket. In the first T20I match played in Bridgetown, Barbados, he secured a victory against the current T20 World Champions, England. Russell won Player of the Match for his outstanding performance, which gave West Indies a 1-0 lead in the five-match T20 series.
His splendid comeback after two years in international cricket was witnessed during the 2021 T20 World Cup in Abu Dhabi.
