According to TANGEDCO’s announcement, the supply will be restored sooner if the work is finished before the deadline.
On Thursday, January 4, from 9 AM to 2 PM, power will be turned off in some areas of Chennai to allow for maintenance work. According to TANGEDCO, the supply will be restored ahead of schedule if the work is completed earlier than anticipated.
Adyar: Enjambakkam 1 Avenue Vettuvankeni, Akkarai Village, Allikulam, Ambedkar Street, Anna Enclave, Bethel Nagar North and South, Bharathi Avenue, Brindavan Nagar, Copper Beach Road, ECR, Gangai Amman Kovil Street, Gunl Garden, Hanuman Colony, Kakkan Street, Kasturibai Nagar, LG Avenue, Nainarkuppam, Uthandi, Neelankarai Kuppam, Pallavan Nagar, Panaiyur Kuppam, Ponniamman Kovil Street, Rajan Nagar First and Second Street, Royal Enclave, Selva Nagar, TVS Avenue, Thiruvalluvar Salai, VOC Street, Vimala Garden, and neighbouring areas are among those affected.
Melur, Minjur Town; Theradi Street; Surya Nagar; BDO Office; Seemavaram; Pudhupedu; Nanthiyambakkam; Pattamandari; Vallur; Atthipattu; SR Palayam; Kondakarai; Karayanmedu; and the adjoining areas are all located in Tondiarpet.
